Introduction

My name is Annette van den Berg I am an artist based in Sydney, Australia. I studied a Bachelor of Design at CoFA and graduated in 2000. During the final year of study I was placed with the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony Art department, working for the year assisting an Art Director, organising the design/construction of one of the many sections of the ceremony.
Through this opportunity and the contacts made, upon graduating I scored some work in the art department of a feature film as a Design Assistant. I learnt many tricks in photoshop from the 'guru' and went on to develop a digital illustration style over the next few years on several productions.
Now during a break from the film industry I have managed to adapt my skills in CS2 to web design and graphic design, working as the Creative Director of an advertising agency.
I have my own freelance design business called 'van den Berg creative' and enjoy working on some of my own artworks in my free time.
